After basically becoming the world’s enabler, providing both the Crackdown orb collection sound and that of ulocking Achievements for a gaming audience to use on their iPhone or generic handheld device, he’s now moved on in the anorak stakes. Should you choose to, it’s now possible to download sound files of the noises Microsoft’s revised 360 model makes when you power on or open this disc tray.

Available here and here, they’re sure to brghten up the day of any self-confessed nerd, probably turning them into some kind of Pavlovian slobbering idiot. Still, whatever makes you happy.

While we’re in the mood though, why not indulge a list of gaming ringtones we’d like to see more than such dull monotones? Why not, indeed?

Why? Because it boasts one of the most satisfying net cord chimes gaming has ever known. Yes, if it’s pathetic you’re after, this is weapons grade.

If only because its announcer’s inane yapping would hasten the pathway between incoming call and chat. Man, that guy’s an idiot.

3) Mario Bros. Theme Tune

Sported by X360′s very own Ben Biggs, it’s impossible not to love this ditty, just for its capacity to split audiences right down the middle. What they’ve forgotten is anyone who doesn’t like it has no soul…
