Microsoft’s promotional arm seems to know no restraint. Not content with accepting the calendar as it is, they seem to have taken to renaming the very seasons themselves according to what Live Arcade games are out at the time. So, to go along with your Summer Of Arcade there’s now the Block Party, an expression that will mean little to British gamers apart from an opportunity to drink cheap cider, out of a large blue bottle, at a bus stop.

Still, this at least means we now have pricing details for Rare’s Perfect Dark reload (800 Microsoft Points), die cast model ‘em-up Toy Soldiers (1200) and top-down racer Scrap Metal (also 1200). We’d be lying to say more than one of the above will appear on our Dashboard, and it’s exactly as you’d expect…
