Last night, I did something really weird. Not for the first time either, but then we’re not talking about that. No. Having played and completed The Ballad Of Gay Tony in the course of my regular work here at x360, I returned to GTAIV at home to essentially stalk the downloadable add-on throughout the map of the original game. It’s certainly a weird feeling stepping through environments that in one title are the scene of intense, adrenaline-fuelled shoot-outs, and in the other lie desolate and unloved. Almost like returning to a house you used to live in, appalled at how its new owners have decorated it. Maybe I’ll go into specifics shortly after release, I just wanted to see if anyone out there takes such odd voyages of non-discovery, realising just how much of a game’s story can be tied up in its environment…
