Sky Coming To An Xbox Near You

Microsoft has announced that  in conjunction with Sky it will bring a huge selection of the broadcasters channels and shows to the 360. Only available in the UK, 360 Sky will let gamers view all sorts of content from documentaries, movies, TV shows and music. Some will be on-demand and others users will be able to stream and watch directly.

It’s exciting news, especially if you’re not a Sky subscriber already. Microsoft also announced that the new service will allow gamers to invite each other to watch, say a sporting event together, with all the Avatars  happily watching  along on screen.  It’s not been made clear exactly how much a service like this will charge it’s users, but what Sky already  charges is probably along the right sort of lines.

It’s nice to see Microsoft expanding what the 360 can do, but must they charge for absolutely everything? Yes, yes they do!
