Rock Band Blitz Now Half Price On XBLA
Harmonix’s traditional rhythm action game slashed to 600 MS Points
Looking for something new to play? Probably not, given how many bloody awesome games are out there at the moment. But if you are, or you just want to get something relatively new and totally awesome on the cheap, we’ve got quite the bargain for you.
Harmonix’s wonderful Rock Band Blitz – an XBLA shout-out to a time when music games weren’t all about plastic instruments – has had its price lopped in half for a limited time, now going for just 600 MS Points… just over a fiver in Real World Moneys. It was pretty much a bargain at its original price, so this reduction merely turns it into something that should, quite simply, be on every console in the land.
“If you’ve got a hard drive full of Rock Band tunes, you’d be a fool to ignore Blitz,” we said in our review. “And if you haven’t… well, you’d still be a fool – Blitz has the most (and best) day one DLC of any game ever.”
With thousands of songs available to download, Blitz is a potentially endless score attack dream. And with the 25 in-game songs also available to play with your mates and their toy guitars in Rock Band 3, it’s still a ridiculous offer for anyone that still plays RB whether they like Blitz itself or not.
So yeah… get on it and we’ll see you on the leaderboards.
