For years, we’d begged, dreamed and hoped that LucasArts would sit up and pay attention and finally, after all this time in the dark, we’re getting exactly what we wanted…

When you stop and actually think about it, having reworked special edition versions of Monkey Island on the 360 is almost too good to be true. For years, we’d begged, dreamed and hoped that LucasArts would sit up and pay attention and finally, after all this time in the dark, we’re getting exactly what we wanted and being shown the light.
To help get our excitement glands working over time, we have these new screens to pour over and we have to say; Monkey Island 2: Le Chuck’s Revenge (to give it its full title) is looking every bit the sequel we’ve come to expect. A much more ambitious sequel in general, Monkey Island 2 is fondly remembered as the pinnacle of the series and I can’t wait to see how the controversial surprise ending turns out in the new art style.



I couldn’t be anymore excited and I’ve already started hoping that LucasArts won’t stop with the first two games and will eventually bring the entire series to XBLA and perhaps even some of the other SCUMM classics.
