In Irrelevant news…

We’ve been playing a lot of Tiger Woods 09 recently (to inform our upcoming Tiger 10 review, naturally enough). Apart from a putting system that requires a maths degree to understand, another bone of contention has cropped up. It’s all very well EA attempting to integrate real and fictional sport universes, but what about the UK gamer? They have to cope with an impenetrable layer of slang, and that’s if they want to hear results in sports they probably don’t care about. EA should hire Sid Waddell to provide darts round-ups, or Steve Davis to cover the snooker. That’d confuse the Americans…
