Is it just me, or does anyone out there think Microsoft aren’t pushing the Sky Player service as hard as they perhaps could?

But I can’t, as a great philosopher once said. Is it just me, or does anyone out there think Microsoft aren’t pushing the Sky Player service as hard as they perhaps could? Or, indeed, hard enough? Even as as non-lay people, X360 earlier managed earlier today to not to put a single finger on any of the program’s key features, leaving us all with no idea how valuable it is as a service. While undeniably technically impressive, it remained a mystery whether users, for example, could join friends in watching movies or sports to which they themselves have not subscribed. Similarly, nowhere among prominent advertisment have we seen whether customers can operate some kind of Premiership Plus-style system with live football matches. Of course, a cursory search soon cleared up the second question (negatively), still leaving the former a blank.

High time then for a little clarity on what the service offers, to ensure it isn’t merely a nice little perk for 360 owning existing Sky subscribers. Who knows – someone might make a little money out of it then!
