Fired Infinity Ward heads Vince Zampella and Jason West have agreed to be represented by the Creative Artists Agency

Fired Infinity Ward heads Vince Zampella and Jason West have agreed to be represented by the Creative Artists Agency. The top Hollwood talent agency has sided with the duo after Zampella and West filed a $36 million lawsuit against Activision claiming wrongful dismissal and breach of contract. The move signifies a possible new deal between the two parties, an unsual and possbily very lucrative move for CAA.

The LA Times suggests that a new publisher could be in the pipeline, but considering CAA has talent on its books that spans the breadth of the entertainment industry and that Zampella and West aren’t just suing for Modern Warfare 2 royalties, but creative control over any game in the Call Of Duty series set after the Vietnam War, a succesful suit could result in much broader opportunies for the Modern Warfare series.
