Ghost Recon: Future Soldier Announced

Ubisoft’s big announcement today turned out to be an unsurprising, but totally welcome, new addition to the Ghost Recon franchise. Titled Ghost Recon:Future Soldier Ubisoft released the announcement with this press release:

“…the game will feature cutting-edge technology, prototype high-tech weaponry, and state-of-the-art single-player and multiplayer modes. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will go beyond the core Ghost Recon franchise and deliver a fresh gameplay experience, with an unparalleled level of quality that will excite long-time fans and newcomers alike.”

No other details have emerged as of yet, but we think the world is ready for a new Ghost Recon. Whenever we think about the series now we can’t help but be transported back to the early days of the 360. Look how quaint these screenshots are and now remember how amazing you thought they looked when you first saw them. How far we’ve all come!
