Forza 3 @ Le Mans
Forza 3 was one of those games at E3 this year that got a little (not much though) lost in all the willy waving. Forza 3 was one of those games at E3 this year that got a little (not much though) lost in all the willy waving. Besides from it looking absolutely stunning, the fact that Turn 10 is making all the appropriate steps to make it better than its predecessor left it in the rather unenviable position of being totally unsurprising. “We already know this is going to be good, so lets looks at all the other stuff” is the general line of thinking.
But that’s not really being fair on Forza 3 and all it has to offer. Early footage of the game showed off the fantastic cock pit views, video editing, immense livery options, gorgeous vistas and, well, the list goes on. Forza 3 is shaping up into one tasty package. We’ll be getting a hands-on with it this weekend at the Le Mans 24 hr race, so expect some extensive coverage in a future issue of X360.
We know it’s a bit sad but we’re most looking forward to finding out how the realistic physics interact with the overhauled damage model. The first thing we’re going to do is drive our car as fast as we can into the nearest wall and watch as it explodes in a shower of metal and glass. Oh, yes.
