EA have today released further details on the upcoming, inevitable expansion for FIFA 10, Ultimate Team. Like last year, it’ll enable players to collect and trade various packs of cards to then compete in tournaments against their fellow bleary-eyed, bed sore ridden man. Aw.

New this time around is the team chemistry mechanic, that has been tweaked to make more sense generally besides assuming greater importance than in ’09. Also, players will be encouraged to put together multiple squads at various different skill levels, as certain tournaments will be banded according to such factors.

Finally, the mode will continue to evolve right the way through the rest of this football season, with fresh card packs coming into play, besides refreshed Xbox Live tournaments to test your awesome skills, etc.

Anyway, it’ll be out sometime in February for a wallet-friendly 400 Microsoft Points.
