Could it be… ?

Could this be what we have been waiting for? This is the opening graphic to Kojima Production’s page on the Konami website stating rather cryptically that a new Metal Gear is on the way. But for what format and in what form? The green circle (neon green, that’s important) could be the power button on an Xbox 360. However the use of ‘i’ and ‘!’ together could also suggest an iPhone Metal Gear.

Obviously we’re keeping our fingers crossed for the former. We’re not necessarily thinking it will be the most recent Metal Gear title Guns Of The Patriots, but even an XBLA updating of the PSone game would be welcome. With Sam Fisher hiding somewhere out of sight (as is his way) we could do with some proper stealth action on the Xbox 360. So start praying to those gaming gods that this isn’t just a Kojima tease and we actually get some Solid Snake on the 360.
