Despite garnering some of the worst reviews of the year (just take a look at Metacritic if you don’t believe us) Activision is adamant its peripheral based skateboarder was just a miss understood product. Tony Hawk’s: Ride will be making an unwelcome return late in 2010 and making us all question exactly why we play games in the first place. If one game didn’t deserve a sequel…
Though it seemed like an excellent balance of game design and intuitive motion controls, Ride came together in a complete mess of bad game choices and an unresponsive peripheral. Perhaps a second outing will show what designers Robomodo were intending all along.
