TGS Shows Developer Support For NATAL

TGS kicks off and the industry shows its support for Project NATAL

The Tokyo Game Show has well and truly kicked off today (yesterday if you’re actually out there, it’s like time travel!) and Microsoft has come out all guns blazing. The big M hosted an impressive roundtable discussion talking over the potential that Project NATAL has and the sorts of games developers will be able to make.

They also took this opportunity to list all the developers that have pledged allegiance, sorry, expressed their support for NATAL, stating that they are either developing or planning games for the movement controller.

Here’s a list so that you know just how serious the videogame development community is about Project NATAL:

There are some big names there, but someone who has been particularly vocal about the potential NATAL has is Konami’s Hideo Kojima of Metal Gear Solid fame. Could Kojima’s interest mean there’s a Metal Gear NATAL game in the works at some secret Konami bunker?

With names like this behind it, NATAL is in a very strong position, all we need now is a release date and we’d be all set. Next year, is it?
