Oh Well, It Couldn’t Last…

After a protracted and committed play session over the weekend, one pretty fundamental problem with FIFA 10′s Manager Mode shuffled into view, and there’s actually quite a large connection with Sam’s post from last week.

Having taken the mighty Bournemouth to victory in the League Two play-off final, there was considerable anger at the, shall we say, lack of skill within the ranks of our amended team. So, when the option came to decide which players stayed and which were let go, we decided in a fit of pique to get rid of everyone. Was our club disqualified? Did we have to go grovelling on our hands and knees to the PFA in order to provide some sort of explanation? No. A bunch of generated players with wired names like Eduardo dos Santos Fotherington appeared, each more than handy in the division we’d been promoted to. Oh dear.
