New Star Wars Game To Be Announced

The rumor mill is back in full swing as word goes around that a new Star Wars game is to be announced at this years VGAs. What on earth could this mystery Star Wars game be? The Force Unleashed 2? A new Jedi Knight? Surely not a Jar Jar RPG? Whatever your guess, we’ve got our money on Star Wars Battlefront III.
Though Pandemic has gone the way of the dodo, the Star Wars Battlefront series has plenty of life in it. In fact, it managed to hit the headlines earlier in the year when leaked screenshots and footage showed that the game was relatively far along in its development cycle. What was seen in the footage was truly spectacular and had us wishing this game had an official release or was at least acknowledged to exist. There’s a strong following of the Battlefront games and it’s a real shame that Pandemic no longer exists, but that doesn’t mean their games can’t live on. Long live Star Wars Battlefront!

I definitely want to see a new installment in the Battlefront Series. I loved Star Wars Battlefront but I was all over Star Wars Battlefront II. Sadly I doubt Pandemic Studios are going to develop it. As we know Project Y is Mercs Inc and Project X was rumored to be Battlefront III but was later debunked. With all this information I doubt Battlefront III will ever be made let alone announced at the Video Game Awards.
Mabey it was before my time. When was it out and what console was it on? What’s the big deal what was it even about because it comes up ocasionally in the mag and the forums and I don’t get it
