Monster_Hunter__Freedom_2-Sony_PSPScreenshots78303Capcom’s multimillion-selling Monster Hunter franchise is coming to 360 in Japan, the publisher announced yesterday.

The franchise, which started out on PS2 before transitioning to the PSP then Wii, last year, represents a huge coup for Microsoft. The game coming to 360 is a port of the PC MMO, known as Monter Hunter Frontier Online, but separate servers will be created for the 360 iteration. It’ll cost 1400 yen (about £9.70) a month to play. The plan is to eventually integrate both servers over time.

Will it reverse the 360’s poor fortunes in Japan? Would you be interested if Capcom brought the title to the West? Sound off below!
