If there’s one thing that’s driven me nuts since getting my hands on Fight Night Round 4, it’s EA’s decision to eradicate button control from the entire experience. Despite catcalls that preferring such an option is ‘cheating’, I’ve always put it down to the fact that these morons just can’t handle my excellently thrown B button right hook!

Listening to its critics, though, Electronic Arts has announced two packs of free DLC, one of which contains that all important button choice. To keep the balance in-tact, EA has also stated that there’s still an advantage for those who rely on the stick. Throw in that new outfits, gyms and gameplay sliders are also headed our way, and Fight Night Round 4 is showing it’s more than willing to change, like a prisoner up for parole. Ah, life… We here at X360 would like to thank EA for making this momentous decision. It will be remembered fondly by us all, especially when we knock out Dave Shaw.
