Call Of Juarez: Bank Job!

The masses of Xbox Live can be a fickle bunch. You can always find at least a couple of thousand people playing Halo, Call Of Duty or Gears of War, that’s a given. But every now and then a rival game will come along and do something interesting, the horde will move off and for a while they’ll check out this new game, but inevitably they’ll make there way back to what they know and enjoy. It’s difficult for a game to get into the regular rotation when there are so many games offering such quality.

That’s why it’s important to highlight the games that do something just a little bit different. We need to create a buzz. Call Of Juarez: Bound In Blood is an excellent single player shooter, but it’s the less talked about multiplayer that is really what we’ll be playing in the future. It’s like Techland reached back into their childhoods, of running around with cap guns and hats and built a game out of that.

Call Of Juarez: Bank Job!

Juarez’s Bank Job mode is a complete riot. Two teams, one defending the other attacking have to fight over a bank vault. Once it’s broken into the robbers have to high tail it across town, blow open the stables and attempt to escape on horse back. The focus of the fight constantly changes with each objective and watching as the robbers inevitably abandon their horses and try running out of town is a whole lot of fun.

Call Of Juarez: Bank Job!

If cowboys are your thing and you like shooters Call Of Juarez is definitely worth a look. Keep an eye out for the official X360 online review in a future issue!
