2009 saw simultaneous peak for 360

2.2 million users is the most that have ever been logged onto Xbox Live simultaneously, Microsoft announced at CES. That’s pretty impressive, out of 39 million Xboxes sold.

It’s a little more than we get on the X360 forum, and an indicator that Xbox Live is clearly a huge deal, this generation. Microsoft cites Last.fm, Facebook and Twitter as aspects that helped drive interest in the service.
