Yeah, I've had a go at Saints Row, and it hasn't really impressed me that much. Car driving is a little awkward, and the health a little iffy (I shoot someone, run them over, and they get up - but kick em a couple of times and their A-OK). Most of the cut-scenes made me cringe, too.

Still, I enjoyed playing up to the bit where you have to chase and kill the guy in the car. After failing that a couple of times, I couldn't be bothered.

I've just had a go at Dead Rising, too. The initial fun of hacking Zombies was ruined by not being told how to stop them chewing at my jugular. Plus there was that butt-ugly woman in the first cutscene. And the "After this we need to have a little chat" line was a little ambiguously delivered - was it flirty or angry ?!

Loads of people over on the *cough* OXM forums are having huge problems with the demo, including massive frame rate drops, and I don't think they are all Sammy owners.

Meh.. Apart from the tearing, the graphics are pretty good, as is the pedestrian AI, I'll say that for them.

drink?..... check

rob shops?.... check

Yep thats all the critirea for an epic game right there. LOL

I really can't get over how alike this is to GTA. It's pretty sad that a game developer cannot even inject any ideas into a game.
The game seems to be fairly good, but there is no way i would buy it. I will wait fro GTA and play that, purely because i have played the others.

Also... ICEBERG SLIM inspired that attitude???... erm........ ok.
Bob: Nah.. Bill Hicks is over rated.. A by product of being dead.

CuriousTurtle: They should release him on PS3, then you'd love him.

Heh, back in the forum after a long lay off.

Yea... mine is broke too. Lasted from December to August... it broke during the heatwave, so could be a power overheating issue, alternatively it could be the backwards compatibility upgrade which caused problems... I had difficulties with Half-Life 2 running on my 360. Ah well...

Yeah, I've never played HL2 either. Would it be worth getting on the 360 though - I gather it's quite an old game...
