Hi great mag but heres a question, I ordered a 360 from amozon in september.It didn't arrive in december when it was supposed too.I am angry as any self respecting person would be.So I've now ordered from play.com (ordered in december).Do I have a chance of seeing that any time soon?I can't live without a 360!

Amazon are saying that orders on 360's will be dispatched to you within 1-2days! maybe you should give them another go?

Yeh,but they also say:
"Due to limited supply from Microsoft, Xbox 360 consoles are expected to be available in early 2006. If you've already placed an order, it will be shipped when we receive stock from our suppliers. We are working with Microsoft to ensure the consoles are delivered as soon as they can".

Play say, and I quote, because I called them up on that huge telephone number that's written at the bottom of every page on the Play site so not even idiots could miss it:

Mid-January. We don't have a clue exactly when.

Play have now merrily ditched their 'mid-January' line (which is in four days, after all) and taken up a rather cheery "we don't have the faintest idea".

Which is nice.

I'm not even going to bother explaining my sitaution but I'll just give you the jist of the argument. I pre-ordered my 360 in October at HMV in St Albans, was 21 on the list. Only 8 360's made their way into the shops come launch on Dec 2nd. Mid January, they still only had 8 360's. I went to GAME, they were getting stock, I put my name on the list and 1 WEEK later I got my 360 whereas HMV were nowhere near giving me my 360.
Conclusion= HMV sucks for pre-ordering hardware- when the PS3 comes out steer clear from it!

If anyones still after a 360, GAME is your best bet, keep trying the website and stores as I know both keep getting stock in, I've seen people buying them in store even.
