Rainbow 6: Vegas

Yey or Nay?

I'm unsure because i enjoy games like GOW and Halo 2 with co-op and squad elements but not early Rainbow 6 titles or GRAW.

So is R6V like more action or more tactical plotting?

Go for it. The single player is awesome, and the online is too. I think you can get it for 17.99 at play.com as well- bargain.

Yeah I also couldn't get on with the old R6 games. And I dislike GRAW.

R6V is the daddy.

Oh god I really hate this game online. So laggy and unfun.
If you were expecting GoW like stand offs taking potshots from behind cover because everything boils down to who throws the grenade first dismaying any fun to be found from flanking and the like.
The single player is also too far spaced apart with checkpoints and repetitive though mercifully short lived.

Single Player: 8/10
LIVE: 6/10

Only laggy if you join laggy games. Most of the time it's awesome online.

And the single player is craptastic for the first hour or so, until you get inside Calypso Casino.
