I almost gave birth when I found out this was coming to the 360.

The original Dmc was one of my favourite games on the Ps2, it was just so impressive. I can still remember gaping in awe whilst passing something akin to a house brick out of my backside when I got to the first battle with Mundus, he was huge.

My only real gripes with the series, well ignoring 2 because it was pants, was the fact you faced the same bosses repeatedly, some of the levels were unbalanced or too short and the combat system needs a little more depth a little more akin to Ninja Gaiden.

I am looking forward to this, but I am little unsure over the character change to Nero. To be honest I think I would have prefered it if Capcom would have gone with Sparda. I think it may have been better, fill out the story about how it all started.

I never really played any of these games.

I remember owning a copied version of the original, but only playing about half hour and then never trying again.

It was only this morning, when I read this month's preview, that my interest was peaked. The idea of clearing rooms full of bosses in beautiful flowing combo's is one that I think must appeal to almost any gamer. Especially those of us raised on hack n' slash titles like Streets of Rage or Goldenaxe or the like.

I had no idea this IP offered that level of play. I can't believe I have missed all of these.

I recommend Dmc and Dmc 3, I wouldn't bother with 2, it was a waste of time

Devil may cry OWNS. It was the best thing ever on PS2,you could slice an emeny and then jump up and shotgun them in the head. imma get this for PS.

It also had some of the slickest graphics and styling ever the amount of times I did that long jump in the fountain room just because it looked so F!!!!g cool.

I still rate Ninja Gaiden slightly better than Dmc but not by much.

Completely new character by all accounts, they messed up with two introducing a new character along side Dante so a little worried

I would certainly have a go at 3 Cerebral, kinda tells the story of Virgil and Dante, Virgil aka Nelo Angelo, Dante's Brother first seen on Lvl 4 of the original, after that black Cat like creature.

Devil May Cry is one of the shared favourite series' of myself and my girlfriend (who happens to be one of those rare hardcore gamers who plays more than just Final Fantasy), along with Tenchu, Halo and SoulCalibur.

When we saw the quick flash for DMC4 on GamerTV the other week, our reactions were pretty similar; "HOLY F*CK!"

I'm only hoping the game lives up to the expectations we've both set for it.

Although she likes 2 the most, mainly due to how she didn't play enough of 3 to get into it, I am far more into 3 and can thus expect 4 to deliver as much excitement as 3 has so far.

I'm especially hoping that 4 is actually more difficult than 3, which has so far turned into the hardest game I have ever played.
