I heart both of them. Benedict rocks and Sackhoff is ace.

Haha fair enough - I'm currently playing through Tales of Vesperia can't see myself setting the bar by dressing up as a pre-pubescent looking Jap tween. :D

How you liking it? I've been meaning to get it for ages because I loved the demo.

Really enjoying it actually, I've been wanting to play/replay a JRPG for ages now but couldn't decide which one to get as I've completed/played most of em and my eyes would always trail back to Lost Odyssey.

I never really got on with Eternal Sonata, which looks incredibly similar, not that it was a bad game I just didn't have the time for it.

I was gonna get it a while ago but the retail version is really hard to find less than £40 now. Amazingly, it's only £20 on Games on Demand which seems like a good deal for once so I'll leave it until I've got more time/money for it. Eternal Sonata is another one I've had on my list for a while. Thought the demo was great. I bought Infinite Undiscovery for a few quid about a month ago, not played it but I'm hoping it's going to be decent enough.

If you've got a PS3 I'd recommend getting Valkyria Chronicles, probably my favourite JRPG of this gen. There's some great ones on the DS too if you've got one.

I'm so behind on JRPGs this gen, so many games I need to catch up on.

Unless your local shops have it, it seems the best deal your going to get will probably be games on demand. Infinite Undiscovery is a solid 7 in my books and worth a run, it can be frustrating at times but mostly a solid playable experience. I've played every JRPG released on 360 that I couold get my hands on and I'm fairly certain the only one I have left to play is Resonance of Fate.

Unfortunately mate I don't have a PS3 and I traded my DS a long time ago, just got sick of the sight of it to be honest. However from what I've heard/seen of Valkyria Chronicles solid recommendation.

Keep? Gotta say Resonance of Fate was a bad game. Never explained itself and the number of times you get mortalled just cos the game hasn't bothered to explain nuances is very frustrating. You may get more out of it than I did but its a hard game to love ..... or even like
My conviction is born to damn the fuckers who doubted me. To rise to great heights even beyond my own legend as a Great Cocksmith, Master Pintsman, and stunningly handsome Prince of Light in these dark Dark Ages!

I've got plenty to play through at the moment but yeah, GoD seems like the best choice. Resonance of Fate is another one I kept on coming so close to buying but was put off by something every time. Think it looks excellent though, it's always appealed to me.

I'd say 360 has a better selection of JRPGs surprisingly, but Valkyira Chronicles is great.

It's only coming out on the PS3 but have you seen any of the trailers for Ni No Kuni? It's a collaboration between Level-5 (Dark Cloud, Dragon Quest VIII) and Studio Ghibli, can't wait for it.

Tales of Vesperia is my favorite JRPG since D Quest VIII.
If in doubt, put the kettle on.

It's on my list of games that I haven't finished. I cannot stand it. I'd even go as far as saying that it's worse than Eternal Sonata (I know a lot of you guys love it, but imo it's utter gash, but not as bad as resonance of fate)

Lost Odyssey is one of my faves.
