Crysis 2 and Dead Space 2 have now gone upstairs. They are no longer in the same room as the box itself. They might as well be halfway across the Atlantic on a pea green boat.

Thats 2 great games there Clown.

Two good games. The originals were great games.

Not played Crysis so cant comment on that one Biggs.

As for Dead Space, both excellent games, just different games.

Crysis 2 just isn't my bag. I rarely meet an FPS I like, and this was no different. I bought it thinking it'd be more Far Cry-y than it was.

Dead Space 2 brings shame on its family.
If in doubt, put the kettle on.

Sure Dead Space 2 was probably not as good as Dead Space, but it was no way a bad game by any means.

I didn't finish the Dead Space: Extraction.. mainly cos I kept forgetting about the fiddly controls.

I blame the Achievements for me not finishing games. There was a time where I'd just drop the difficulty level in order to finish a game quicker without having to continually retry the harder parts when I die.

Now I don't drop the level because I want the cheevo for finishing a game on the harder setting but as a result I get fed up with trying over and over to do a difficult part of the game and stop playing it... unless I find it a really interesting game.

You've summed up exactly what I was thinking yesterday whilst reading this thread but didn't quite know how to word.

I've got a stack of un-finished great games that I've got into my head I must get finished on 'hard' for the cheevo (and usually better gaming experience). Looking now, I can see at least six games which fall into that category.

'Tis wierd 'cos I usually don't care about achievements; couldn't tell you what my gamerscore even roughly is without looking.

It's just those 'Complete on hard difficulty or above' ones which have me and it would seem they're doing the opposite of what they should :?

Mine is pretty rubbish when you take into account that I've played so many games.

Anyhow back on topic.. I'm determined not to buy any new games until I've finished my back log.

Currently working through Medal of Honor and Rayman Origins.

Then I've got Rage and Catherine and Crysis to polish off.

Good luck finishing Rayman.
If in doubt, put the kettle on.

Is it harder than Dark Souls?

Rayman was gonna be my next game.

I took breaks from Rayman to play Dark Souls. You know, to relax.
If in doubt, put the kettle on.

I've gotten as far as the water levels Clown without any major difficulties.. When does it get hard?

Roundabout when you go back to the water levels - you-ve a while to go. I had 8 of those red teeth when I gave up, which was about 120 of the little yellow yokes, which was about, say 60 levels.
If in doubt, put the kettle on.
