I dunno, I waver on this. On the one hand I want more 'sploring, less bang-bang, but on the other I understand that this is the end of the trilogy and wandering off to collect Spasmatron from the planet Whatoosie in my dune buggy while the earth is being roasted alive, would be out of context.

That's exactly how I feel. I was hoping Bioware would add more exploration than Me2 but this time it wouldn't be without consequence.

That would be the alternative, aye. Be interesting to see if they have done that because it would have a backlash from certain gamers who like to play these kind of games at their own pace and demand 100% completion.

Realised earlier on that I know pretty much nothing about this. I know the very basic premise for the story and a few of the returning characters, that's it. Yet, I'm probably more excited for this than I have been for any other game before.

My excitement for the game is growing and I too know very little, have avoided almost all the trailers...by the time it's within a few days of release, I'll be the same as you man.

I couldn't resist, I played the demo, it looks amazing, I know mass effect games have always been good looking but they have pushed it out on this one. The combat & cover system has been tweaked and is even more rock solid than ever, it just feel good to play this game.

The overall design is flawless as always, Bioware have managed to create a universe so fleshed out and unified that nothing looks out of place and so becomes almost believable.

You could take almost any character out of this game and make a stand alone i.p out of them that would kick the shit out of most of the generic, copy and paste space marines games we see constantly.

I'm pumped for this, and its the 1st real big hitter of 2012, long nights and sore eyes to come.... Ohh and Rex is back!, all hail the king.

Played 90 minutes. Good so far, opening mission after the bit from the demo is a big step up from that mission, liking it a lot at the moment.
