The Muppet Movie - *****

Genuinely brilliant. Great songs. Great effects.. And it's the Muppets.. what's not to love?

Friends with Benefits

I remain slightly unconvinced by Timberlake's acting 'skills'.. he was ok in the Facebook film but I'm not sure he's leading man material.

Still, despite being hamstrung by a plot which you knew from the off would have them end up together, this was ok.

Yuss Saw In Time and can never recommend it. He had his pained face on a lot in it. Oh and sad face too. He doesn't act but just delivers his lines and walks. If he is the new De Niro I'll be watching old films from now on

He's the same guy in all his films, the Napster guy and this guy could very well be the same person - only with a slight change of career.

Either way I enjoyed Friends With Benefits. It has it's moments and she's bang tidy in tiny panties.

He was very flamboyant in the Facebook movie.. and it was a smaller role.. But yes he does that 'Justin' thing every time.

He was a smug hateable prick in SN. Maybe people find it easier to see him as that an as a legitimate leading man.

I quite like him, he seems like a decent chap. Not convinced by his acting myself yet though.

Super 8

Superior belnd of old school movie making and new technologies, witha proper beating heart of a story and proper likeable 3d charcaters in the centre. Basically JJ Abrams doing a Spielberg impression.

8/10

Im worried now Bob, as we seldom agree. BUT suffice to say i cried when watching it on Sunday hungover. Watched it again yesterday with missus and enjoyed it again. Its a very good blockbuster with heart.

JJ Abrams has a good track record so far, MI3, Star Trek, this. Im hopeful for his future, he clearly has a good commercial eye.

Hope you find something worthwhile about this film cos all I got out of it was a sense of deflation. Just IMO it was very poor considering the source
