Not seen 12 Monkeys although have a copy somewhere, will have to get round to it. Blade Runner I liked but wouldn't say it was my fave Sci-Fi film.

Dunno really, a couple that do come to mind which haven't been mentioned are eXistenZ and Scanners (I think Scanners would be classed as Sci-Fi???) but that might just be due to me being a big David Cronenburg fanboy.

ha, as they say in Sheffield, "is it eck!" . (other opinions are availible).

I suppose I'd stick You Dont Mess With The Zohan in my guilty pleasures too. Mostly due to John Tutorro playing a hammy terrorist who everyone knows (you think being a terrorist would require blending in).

Enjoyed Dune too, despite it's wierdness and running time.

Reign of Fire! Great choice JS. Awful movie with a poster that promised way more that it could ever deliver, but still oddly compelling, including McConaheys wild eyed hammy dragon killer beating up Batman.

The Chronicles Of Riddick would be another. Even bad sci-fi tends to be interesting.

I love Pitch Black. TCoR was not too bad either.

I so wanted to hate those two films, but ended up really enjoying em. Pretty much every Stath film there is, post Snatch.

And Van Damme.

Channel 5 seem to have life time rights to their films.

Universal Soldier

Golden Compass

Rocky 3 & 4 (if those are the ones with Mr T and Dolph Lundgren)

Pitch Black is Vin Diesels best ever film if you ask me. Not sure I'd even be guilty about it, it's actually good.

I'd say the same. Genuinely love it. It's no classic but it's very enjoyable, Vin Diesel making it something a bit special.

Aghhh I mussed up I wasn't thinking of guilty pleasures so I'll come out and say that mine are watching

Deep Space - a film about an alien that looks like Alien but with a huge vagina in its chest and a detective looking for it who gets phone calls from a psychic who can track the monster. So bad its good. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0092863/

Deep Rising - which is unfairly overlooked by most people. Smashing story about a huge monster from the deep who eats people a lot. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0118956/

Anaconda - Jon Voight made this film for me. Especially when he gets regurgitated at the end.http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0118615/

Daylight - awesome film that got unfairly treated by most http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0116040/

Battlefield Earth - a chuck your brain out and laugh at it film http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0185183/

Deuce Bigelow Male Gigolo - Brilliant fim and not shit like its sequel. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0205000/

A

Forgot about Ghost Rider, yeah one hell of a guilty pleasure. Watched it on a number of occasions.

There's gonna be a Ghost Rider 2 you say?

Which just goes to show you can get any old shit made into a movie these days!
