Got there yesterday, my eyes almost fell out as I was flown over the horizon. Thought it looked OK but nothing special up till that point but Anor Londo is beautiful.

Just got to the painted world by the time I put it down at 3am, there certainly is a wealth of cool stuff to be collected there. Can't wait to finish scavenging it later today :D

You might meet one of the most hated enemy types in the game for the first time there. I never found them that bad because of my weapon choice, but there's plenty of people who absolutely hate them.

Oh great, I was in human form when I got there with only one other humanity and stupidly didn't kindle the bonfire straight away instead going for a nosey around. Then got invaded and lost the human form so now can't kindle... This may be harder than I thought :|

Well that's the painted world raped of all it's goodies (of which there were certainly many) and all wrapped up. Very enjoyable level and nice break from the rest of the game all in all :D

Now back to some serious work in Anor Londo...

I did... They died!

Wondered which enemy you were talking about but it makes sense now that some character builds wouldn't be too great for dealing with them feckers. Didn't have too much of an issue myself, think they killed me once or twice whilst working them out but I got back easily and re-claimed my goodies so no great loss.

I think the ones in the Catacombs are a little stronger, the problem people have with them is that if you block their rolling, it uses all of your stamina and you end up getting stunlocked. Wasn't an issue for me because I use a spear for PvE combat.

The wheelie skeletons can be a bit of a pain. I think those big skeletons which dive at you and run around on all fours (Tomb Of the Giants) are the worst.

There's plenty of room to move when facing the wheelie sketelons in the Catacombs. Draw a few of them towards you at a time and you shouldn't have any issues. Watch out for the knight in that room as he comes down from behind you. I'm using the Gravelord Sword +5 so one hit (slash or thrust) and they go bye, bye.

Damn this boss fight. 2 feckers at once

Neither is particularly hard until you've killed one of them and the other takes some of the dead ones powers and refills his health bar. Got so close on a good few occasions now, literally within a couple of hits until the final one is dead.

I will have these ba$tards tonight...

Go for Ornstein first with hit and run, Smough's not such a handful on his own, even powered up.

You''ll have four at once later on...

I agree with Duff take out Ornstein (the little one) first. When fighting Smough keep your distance and use your magic to soften him up. The key is timing your casts as when he drops his hammer infront of him the hammer takes the impact and doesn't damage him.

If you still have Solaire there's a summoning point up one of the flights of stairs close to the white light. Using him make will make this fight much easier as both bosses attention goes on him leaving you to batter them with magic or pyromancies.

Have you opened up the main castle doors and the Darkmoon Tomb bonfire? The darkmoon tomb bonfire is off the lowest level of the rotating platform. If you make that your last checkpoint and have the castle doors open you can do a straight run to this boss fight without taking little or any damage at all.

First time I fought them I moved about quite a bit and ended up with two infront and one behind. Needless to say I died very quickly.

I think of that set of bosses I did them last so I was fairly powerful, but just charging in worked nicely for me. Fire up homing crystal soulmass, dual wield claymore... CHAAAARRGE. I actually had to wait for the next one to spawn in for a few seconds for the last two.

Although despite the name, 4 isn't the limit, in either direction. Apparently with enough DPS (I guess with 2 spirits helping you) only two will spawn, since their life bars overlap a bit. Although if you take too long you can get more than 4 too.

Out damaging them is definitely the best way to go.
