I've got the Wire on DVD.. what's your point?

I found The Shield way more powerful than The Wire and the ending.. wow.. one of the best things commited to TV.

still very formula heavy & generic, The Wire is like a very good novel.

The Wire is really the ultimate New Clothes fixation. Nothing much happens, The dialogue is virtually unlistenable.. it had a couple of cool characters.. and then they killed them off... it's ok.

The Shield had the best cast. The best story. Kick ass action. Plot. Tension like you wouldn't believe and a great array of guest stars per season to keep things exciting (Forest Whittake and Glen Close both stunning).

I think you'll find it goes

1) The Sopranos
2) Breaking Bad
3) The West Wing.

The problem with all these streaming services, is that not one has the rights from all the film studios.

I think they were a bit slow on the uptake with streaming, and should of put something in place ages ago. Have one service (to rule them all) and have something akin to the BDA.

Any list of top TV shows that doesn't feature Firefly is, frankly, not worth a light.

Gilmore Girls is definitely the best thing to ever be on TV.
