Indeed Conq. Look at him, he doesnt even need makeup, just stick a bry-polyester space suit on him and all of a sudden hes Kalgar, a corrupt Romulan senetor who wants to use the thingymywatsit to blow up all of the universe for no discernable reason (and despite the fact he will die too in the process).

Both excellent, i even like Alien 3, though obviously not as much.

Benedict Cumberbatch has just joined Star Trek 2 in an unnamed role. Lets face it he will be a vulcan or a bad guy wont he?

A Star Trek villain apparently... >LINK<

Let's face it, with a face like that he's gonna be either Romulan or Vulcan I reckon.

Not seen it yet Bob. Its on our list and really want to as ive heard so many good things. Kermode was up in arms about Senna not being recognised and he is the first to admit he doesnt give a flip about F1. Says a lot i think.

I don't watch a lot of documentary movies per-se.. and I'd be the first to admit that i'm a massive Senna fan and a massive F1 fan.. I've read Senna books, I have replica hats and T shirts of the stuff he wore and models of the cars.... but the film is so well done considering it's all made of existing footage.. it just pieces it together so well.. of course it helps the man had talent and charisma to spare.

That is a fucking YAWNSOME list.

Personally I thought Senna was far too biased towards Senna and away from the EVIL FRENCHIE PROST*. Decent doc though.

Yeah Senna is an awesome film/documentary. Really enjoyed it and I'm no fan of F1. Highly recommended.

Marb, I hope you don't mean your Lovefilm list for Senna, you'll waiting a long time for it....

And does anyone still care about the Oscars any more, apart from people in the film industry? A load of pompous twaddle if you ask me.

Nothing pompous about that list - crowd-pleasing lowest common denominator pap.

Well there is nothing in the Best Film section I wanna see or have heard of.

And I was not just on about the films nominated (not that you could tell that from my vagueness), more so The Oscars in general.

The Oscars have some merit, but I agree whilst there's some good movies in there, it's the dullest bunch of best picture noms in a few years. Especially after a good bunch last year and year before.
