My mate got £20 an hour for working Xmas day once, working for Customer Support at NTL (shows how long ago that was).

He did have to listen to all the thickwads who literally could not turn there PC's on. Still I'd do that for £20 an hour.

When i was on the dole about 3 years ago I got myself a budget loan, then shortly after got a job and they never asked me about it. I forgot about it myself, I got a letter off them yesterday saying I owe them £250.

I split up with my wife last year mate..although we'd been married less than a year we'd been together for about 10. Had a bit of a drunken wobble on here myself.

On the plus side I'm now seeing the most wonderful girl I ever met so.. erm.. chin up!

Ok so had the weirdest 36 hours i have had for quite a while.

Hence not posting since wednesday.

Thursday morning at 1am the missus wakes up with pain in her belly - uh oh we go with 10 weeks till baby due.
Hospital bed by 3am
transferred in ambulance at 5am
in second hospital (thats more than an hour away from our house) till 11am
Wife has to stay in overnight
I go back towards home meeting a friend on the way for company, play games with him as a distraction while intermittently chatting to wife on phone.
Today go back to hospital, there for 4 hours waiting for discharge to be allowed.

Exhausted and frustrated we both are - no baby yet, wife fine and healthy again - big false alarm.
glum face while happy that nothing bad happened.
Lets hope that doesn't happen again

These things can be very scary when they happen. Not nice at all.
