Dark Night Returns - BORING

Watchmen - ACE

Maus - UTTER CLICHED UP-ITS-ARSE PISHFEST

The League of Extraordinary Gentleman - SURPSINGLY NOT COMPLETE SHIT

Clown, i completely respect your opnion on almost anything but the above is so wrong it made my brain hurt.

DKR and Maus are both utterly excellent examples of graphics novels at their best, Watchmen is good but so far up its own arse its got shit in its teeth.

Never read LXG so ill let you off.

Do you know when it comes to opinions on picture books I'd trust someone whose not a fan boy.. Sorry Marb but I think Clown probably knows best.

Watchmen is utter piffle though. Based on said movie.

Nah, I'm just head of his fan club.

Bob, I did actually enjoy the movie but I'd still say to go read the graphic novel, it's a in a class of it's own. Best thing ever written about superheroes.

Didn't like the graphic novel myself...not a big fan of Millar, dour grim Scottish prick he is. Still, I understand the sentiment.

Then you obviously don't like picture books... maybe it's time to step up to a proper book?

Could I suggest

Don't think there'll be any words or themes that the lack of pictures would hold you back.

kick Ass is good but it's not even Millars best work. Ultimates 1 and 2 knocks it into a cocked hat IMO.

And yes I'm a fanboy, I read shed loads of hollocaust family dramas starring mice.

You say that.. but how can you define what I think is Millar's (I'm not even going to mention how you missed the apostrophe) best work?
