The official Nintendo 3DS thread

Tell the world what you think about the latest Xbox 360 releases

I agree with you there j2000. My stance on keeping games on the 3DS will be the same as my stance on keeping games on the 360. For a game not to be traded in it has to either be an RPG that will have loads of DLC thrown at it, a game I'll likely want to play through again or a game that has good multiplayer.

So that would be no games on the 3DS that won't be traded in then!

That's what I'm starting to thing JS, but that's not a bad thing, I've got enough problems trying to store all my 360 games.

I really should have a clear out, but there are some games that I find it really hard to part with!

Mario Kart 3DS will be a keeper, seeing as Mario Kart multiplayer is one of the best things ever, both online and offline. Ocarina of Time 3D will probably never leave my side, let alone get traded in. Basically, if Nintendo made it, there's a 99% chance I'll keep it.

Oh, and j2000, what's your friend code? Mine's 3394-3561-3551 (the name will come up as either Mark or El Marko; I can't remember what I put it as lol)

Are you jiffy? If you've added me correctly: the name is either Mark or El Marko, blonde hair, blue eyes, black shirt, favourite game listed as Rayman 3D.

Note to self: email Nintendo and ask them why they felt that friend codes were still a good idea.

j2000, if you're looking to trade in PilotWings Resort - if you haven't already - I strongly suggest taking it to Gamestation. I got the following (credit, not cash):

SSFIV fight pad: £1
Halo 3: £2
Mass Effect 2: £3
Modern Warfare 2: £6
Marvel vs Capcom 3: £17
Crysis 2: £30
PilotWings Resort: £35!!

So I'd get in there quick.

Yeah I only paid £28 for it new. I was utterly shocked. Pleased, but shocked! God only knows how much Gamestation are charging for 3DS games if they can afford to fork out £35 for a trade-in; in hindsight I should have had a look.

So I went to my local gamestation, only to find that it had been closed, so I went into game and they were offering didly squat, so off to HMV I went where I got rid of a few games, including Rayman 3D and netted 70 notes, so happy times.

Also VA, I picked up SSFIV 3D, it's chuffin' brilliant, the circular control pad makes the moves doable, also you can press the touch screen to pull off the combo's. The 3D effects are also good, especially in dynamic mode

I didn't get rid of it in the end, I actually got shot of Rayman, got £26 for it.

I'd finished it and wasn't going to play it again.

Nintendo has confirmed that The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D will be released in the US on 19th June. While they didn't reveal a European release date, I think it's safe to say that it'll be out on either 17th June or 24th June over here.

Win!
