Issue 81 Pg 55 Final paragraph

Not sure if I'm being the vocab police here but in the Deus Ex preview, David uses the term 'core tenants' to describe key elements of the canon.

I had a quick Google to make sure it wasn't a new gaming term I was unaware of but it waffles on about supermarkets.

Could it possibly be 'tenets'? - An opinion, doctrine, or principle held as being true.

Shoot me down if I'm being an ignoramus.

Nope, you're quite right. ;)

Issue 82

Page 17 - High Five - Point 2: The only other third-person WWII action games on the 360 we can are all rubbish -

doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

Page 33 - 'But as the Batman reboot was good enough to retcon this point for us.

Not sure retcon is a word?

Page 82 - 'But no so he's so..'

Should be not rather than no?

And if we're being particularly picky

Page 82 - 'especiallythose'

should have a gap between especially and those?

Issue 82

Page 15 - High Five point 4 - 'Players can expect not to double jump.'
I'm pretty sure I've seen double jumping in the game in videos I've seen.

Page 116 - Fight Night Champion is No. 2 in Sports, yet Fight Night Round 4 is No. 7 in Beat-'em-ups.

All mistakes, except retcon, which is indeed a word, and used correctly.

Thanks for highlighting those for us... always appreciated.

Neither of these are mistakes. But, thanks, dude... always appreciate the input. The first makes sense, the second is a cross-genre title... it's sports and it's a beat-'em-up.

My point regarding Fight Night is that Champion should of replaced Round 4 in Beat-'em-ups.

Unless your saying Champion is not a classed as a Beat-'em-up and Round 4 is?

Ah, I see your point. Sorry, I was being thick.

I'll get it sorted. Thanks for the heads-up.

I'm not far into Issue 83 and have noticed a mistake or two.... typically, now I look for them I can't find the buggers.

But there is one thing.... in the 'Uppers & Downers' column you have 'Mech us happy' in the uppers section even though it talks about it being 'so hard to see the incredible DLC mech FPS Hawken sit in development limbo...'. Surely that's a downer?
