Its going to be hard,but i think im going sell up my 360 camp no more cod3 online ill start it at like 500 on ebay,i mean all the games,came to over a grand.

I suggest you think hard before you jump ship. The PS3 has nothing that is worth flogging your entire collection for. The software is acceptable for a launch but nothing special, particularly graphically - it's about on a par with a good 360 game.

For £500 or £600, you'll get a machine, extra pad, couple of games, etc. Just think of the 360 games you could get for £430, new or s/h, up-to-date or old.

Is there anything on the PS3 you have to play? FoM, RR7, Motorstorm? Everything else is cross-platform, I think.

Alternatively, think of this: is there anything emerging for the 360 that you have to play? Halo 3, Blue Dragon, Biohazard 5? Switch to PS3 and you can forget it.

Isn’t that the truth, I’ll be waiting for the dedicated dual players at the end of the year before getting anything blu-ray, till then, the 360 hd dvd drive is the absolute nuts.

As for you Henri, are you fucking mad? your gonna get rid of an established next gen console which has the majority of the PS3 games already, has better exclusives, has a better established online facility, has some top notch games on the way... I could go on…for what? A new console ??

My money just took a huge dent,i bought a HD DVD 360 thingy from gamestation.co.uk,so im short now,soi suppose now i have a HD dvd player,i dont need BR.There is not many games i really want apart from MGS/GT. But i suppose if i kept my 360 id be able to play

they have GranTurismo but I’m betting Forza2 will be on par. as for MGS, Ubisoft have stated the next tom clancy will be 360 exclusive, you know that its gonna be challenging MGS on the stealth front.

There's very little coming for it that's exclusive, and as polaroid said, MGS4 will almost certainly be delayed until early next year. And as also Polaroid says, I quite fancy having both players, but I'd certainly wait until end of 2007. It'll be £100 cheaper, MGS4 will be near and by then format war might be won giving everyone a clearer idea of where the future's going. Buying one now is madness (unless you're minted - but that you're having to sell everything suggests otherwise).

If you're one of them "Must have the latest thing" kinda people, fair play, but I hope you're grafting your arse off for it or have worked your way up into a well paid job - and I hope you're not meithering someone else to buy it for you.

You're considering selling all your 360 stuff and yet you've just gone and bought a HD DVD drive for it?!! I think you just want everything don't you?! If thats the case I'd take your time and save up for the PS3 rather than lump for one or the other. I'm sure that if you got a PS3 something would spark your interest on the 360 and you'd want one of them again!

As for this being 360's last year I don't understand what you mean by that? The 360 won't just disappear because the PS3 is hitting the shelves. In fact, the time that the 360 has had to establish itself might just make it stand head and shoulders above the PS3 for a good while yet. Especially until Sony can build up a stable online service which is critical to the success of the PS3 as far as I can see. A free online service could mean a poor online service.

My situations is this,i left college a while back and went to work,as a trainiee graphic web designer with my dad,so i had it easy there and made alot of money for my age,but as you can guess it did not last long,but amist all the php and macromedia i just did not like full time work(i know i gotta do it at somepoint lol)
I just dint like it,so i quit and have been enjoying life at home for a while,it was bad at the start caz i had to pay 43.50 a month for sky,but luckiey my mum took over paying for that.I had a few grand from work,so i just spent spent spent on everything i wanted. Now tho i aint got enough for a PS3(what with Wii expences aswell) and i was down to like my last 250 and the thought came into my head,hmm maybe the 360 should go,but i bought a HD dvd drive now(abit concerd as it did not state wheather it came with a remote and king kong,so bought Batman with it for 140.
And theres no way id make it till march,knowing i had lots of money sitting there. I am happy with my 360 and it would a relucktant sale,but im staying with it now.
All i ment by the 360s last year is,in my eyes this is the best year for all the games coming out,whats next???? who knows

Bezz i do have a suvear spending prob,when i got banned from xbox live,i thought fuc3 that and bought a new netgear router,so i got a new ip,so i could still play,that came yd.lol
