Seito wrote:sure, at the beginning I knew where they were mostly going to be, but this allowed me to use some interesting tactics that I wouldn't have been able to come up with in the first game.

CJX wrote:You mean all two of them? Did those tactics involve walking up to them and firing a two-second burst?
CJX wrote:How on earth did you do that?! They all fitted so nicely in the lens of my UAV, it was impossible to miss anything.
CJX wrote:Dude, maybe I was playing a different game to you. I saw, like, two explosions, and I just ran to the tunnel part (totally unscathed, with my UAV helpfully pointing out any cannon fodder (all two of them) on the way.
When I was in the tunnel, and came under fire, (with - gasp - more than 3 enemies to deal with at once. I was starting to wonder if the lack of baddies was due to an inability for the game engine to cope with too many things on screen, a la GoW) the whole thing fades to black (oops, maybe it really can't handle them) confirming that the whole thing was just a big waste of time.
Seito wrote:Okay CJ, lets not be so snapppy and jackass-like...
Seito wrote:No, clearly you can't think much further beyond the basic point-shoot mentality

And the fade too black - that couldn't have been more obviously an attempt to draw the player in and then leave them hanging so they want to buy the game. You can't genuinly think they did that because of a lack of engine ability...

Dude, I have an opinion, so do you. They aren't the same, so what? Surely we can both express them without resorting to petty name-calling![]()
CJX wrote:Seito wrote:No, clearly you can't think much further beyond the basic point-shoot mentality
The main reason I dislike the game is because I don't have to.
CJX wrote:No, I don't I was making a joke. And I agree with what you've said totally, with one minor adjustment. Put the word 'failed' between 'an attempt' and it's perfect
