So..... Just Cause 2 then?

Tried the demo and wasn't fussed, if I'm being honest. It certainly looks a lot better, Rico no longer prances around the game world like a lady boy and the shooting is a lot more satisfying... but I can't put my finger on it; it seems lacking somehow.

On a lighter note: attaching an enemy to a gas cannister then shooting said gas cannister before watching it take off and either drag helpless sod across the ground or launch them upwards was a hoot.

I had lots of fun jumping out of a helicopter, then getting back in. But yeahh, was certainly lacking something.

Although the half hour flew by and I was late for work.

I'll have another go and see if I can actually get a mission going this time rather than just cocking about.

I played the demo and thought it was ok. It's certainly fun doing silly things with the grapple,like attach somebody to a car and drive off.Or attach 2 people together and watch them try to chase you.
I'm not that impressed with the shooting.Seems quite hard and when you do the smallest thing it seems an entire army comes after you.
I couldn't find a mission to do in the demo so i'm gonna get the full game on release in the hope it'll be slighlty more interesting.

You have to generate enough chaos to trigger the missions.. Try blowing up a couple of towns.

Playd this last night, stunning looking enviroment, taking the helicopter to maximum alt & jumping out is incredible.
As VA said glad the guy doesn't run round now like he's riding one of those poles with a wooden pony's head on! & the controls & shooting feel much more solid all round. But! The potential that's there was there in the demo of the 1st game, & we all know what they wiped that on!.
So this game for me will need a lot more than pretty enviroments & fun physics to win me over.

Ohh & still don't like the way everyone has to be shot a million times before they realise that they probably should be dead!.

Click the right stick and go for head shots.. That stopped 'em pretty quick.

I hated this until, running from the army, I crashed a car into a petrol station and ejected my parachute at the last moment in order to fly over the explosion to freedom.

Actually, I still hate it. I did that entirely by accident...

I have to admit I am not totally convinced after my first play. The controls did not gel completly for me. Hopefully afer a few plays it will come together. I really want this game to be awesome!!
