I could give it a go. Give me a sec.

Edit: Not too sure about the resources you collect but the upgrades for both your weapons and ship seem to carry over, as does your character level and skills.

Best game I've played since, well, since last week when I got Demon's Souls. Probably the best game I'm going to play until next month when I get Heavy Rain.

Oh my... this is very special indeed! The combat is truly exceptional and quite fast paced.

Very different to ME1 ain't it?

Took me awhile to adjust to it, i find it feel's very "Gears of war" now.

I wouldn't be surprised if they spoke to Epic about the combat considering it's running on the same engine and i know they wanted to avoid the combat being as clunky as the first game due to the critisicm they got about it.

Still finding the cover system a bit clunky... I pop out of cover when I don't want to too often.

BUT the game is huge. Much more to do than ME1. I've spent enough time on this to have beaten ME1 3 times over by now.
TL;DR

The cover systems a huge improvement over the first one though, i didn't use the cover system in ME1 because it was that bad.

Perhaps it's like Marmite?
Except people actually play Mass Effect, who the hell eats Marmite? I stack it in work and it's always out-of-date because no fuccker buys it.

I'm about 6 hours in and there seems to be an endless amount of stuff to do!

The quests so far have been incredible, the characters are deep - Mordin is fast becoming a favourite here. The graphics and detail are bl00dy amazing... how can anyone think this game is just ok is beyond me.

Yes, it feels like a shooter in it's own right. The early mission when you get Mordin is amazing, I actually thought I was playing Gears! It is so easy to snap in behind cover now, quite realistic.

I think it's down to the lack of open worlds they have, that must have taken up quite a lot of disk space for what it was..

Wait till you see a thresher maw in this game in comparison to the first one.. it's mighty impressive.

It outsold 'MAG' on the ps3 by 40 copies to 3 in our shop so everyone else seems to love it...
