I don't mind these little snippets of info here and there, gets me excited to play it. :D

Just don't spoil anything majorly important for me, atleast not without some SPOILER ALERTS thrown around.

That's exactly what i meant earlier when i said i wouldn't be posting about it..

I didn't think people would mind random, totally weird messages that they wouldn't have a clue about till they see what im going on about.

Like, OMG.. the exploration thing is totally different..

Just stopped playing and I estimate I'm halfway through the game. WOW!

I wouldn't dare spoil it but I will say the story is quite different from the first ME, way darker and a lot more character focused, and as a result has a lot stronger and deeper plot. That's not to say it doesn't have some pretty huge revelations and the way your choices from the first game weigh in is in both huge and subtle ways. The characters are all absolutely fascinating and you really get attached to them. Thane and Mordin are my faves at the moment (though I haven't recruited everybody yet). I can't wait till someones finished the game, I need to talk about it, its just so mesmerizing and goes to show just how far ahead of the rest of the industry Bioware is in storytelling. This game made me laugh, cry and squeal like a little girl, and if none of you feel the same way during the game then you have no soul.

As for game play, its really plays like a proper GoW esque shooter now but with all the depth and tactics of the first games RPG mechanics. Also the new customisation system is sweet, and certainly makes for a more pleasant experience when fine tuning your Shepard and squad this time around. It's also visually astounding (Illium blew my mind), and no more pop-in or frame rate issues.

Safe to say, if you loved the first game, then I'd put good money that like me you'll be stunned by what Bioware has achieved here.
