I wouldn't go that far, i don't know anything other than what i've needed to learn to get my stuff sorted for myself.

Maybe a bit more, maybe a bit less. I know a wee bit about PC's but Wolfie seems to know more than me. :)

Cheers Ging. That's quite funny actually as that's the exact one I was looking at yesterday. Seems like a good price and has everything I need.

I did a bit of research and nvidia reccomend using a PSU with at least 350V power with the card Henri's got. Hopefully it will work with the one I have for a week or two 'till I get a new one.

My research also uncovered what my mate was saying about my PSU in relation to number of pins. He was saying that I needed a PSU with an 6+2 pin PCI express connection rather than just a 6 pin one and allthough he never checked, he thought my cheap PSU would probably only have a 6 pin PCI Express connection.

I've been trying to look for myself to see if my current PSU has the required 6+2 pin connection but I don't know what colour the PCI-E connection is. Anyone help?

Yours is the 6 pin right? So it should look like this...

Cheers again Ging, I actually looked it up yesterday after I posted that and after about an hours searching in my computer, looked up my PSU model on google and found out it doesn't have a PCI-E at all!

Obviously this means I need a new PSU even more than I thought but at least it explained why I couldn't find it
