Getting into the industry

Postby conkerconquer on Sun Jan 25, 2009 12:21 am

Don't know if anyone on the forum could help me but here is as good a place as any.

I'm hoping to get a job in the industry, somehow. I'm currently studying to become a concept artist and hopefully in four years time when I'm looking for work my skills as an artist will be much improved. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone had any advice for me seeking work in the industry as an artist, don't care what advice any will be appreciated. Thanks.

whore yourself and your cv out to every company you can find. Even if they're advertising, show a bit of grit and determination and chase opportunities mate.

Fair enough. I'll have fifty copies of my CV ready and send them once a week.
