The best way to ram home the point would probably be to not download the extra's/patches and return the game for a refund due to it being incomplete/buggy. The Gladiator is right the only way to get a message through is to hit them in the profit column.

the truth

Postby gaznaldo on Fri Oct 27, 2006 7:45 am

the truth is guys i have sold over 100 copys of pro evo 360 already and it has been the fastest selling game of the year, there are a LOT of people who have brought 360's as at present it represents about 50% of our buisness.for konami to roll out this game with half the content missing is an absolute slap in the face.

i can't tell you how gutted i am.

in a ideal world everyone should boycott buying any downloads which should be included in the final code but we all know full well that every man and his dog will keep paying a few quid here and there for something that should be included in a £50 game - (although with current price wars its going out for £39.99)

How can we blame the game developers for this???

I'm not saying people shouldn't buy Pro Evo 6. All that would do is make it a PS exclussive again. But if the missing features turn out to be downloads you have to pay for then we should avoid them. I'm not sure if that actually will be the case though. Stuff like Lumines Live was actually what I had in mind, although ever there I might be willing to believe there's an innocent explanation and it isn't that unreasonable to charge a lot for it seeing as it's full price on the PSP.

All these missing features dont mean anything to me. It's still a good game of football.

quite right duffking it's easy to get carried away with what it should/shouldn't have.it is still by far the best game of footy you can have on your 360..

just feel a bit cheated...can't wait for pro evo 7

and as tradition goes konami's decent game of pro evo every two years
(pes1 - mint,pes 2 - nothing new,pes 3 - awesome , pes 4 - nothing new - pes 5 -chuffin amazin,pes 6 - bit of a let down)

to be fair this game has been hyped in my mind since i got a 360 so it would of had to have been perfect to live up to my hopes.

and i prefer to have man red instead of man united

The only thing I wish I still had was replay saving. I've scored a few great goals and thought 'wow, wish I could save that'

Look; I'm a massive Football man myself - and Fifa has always been top dog for me instead of Pro Evo; should I buy or rent Pro Evo 6, is it worth my time and effort?

I don't get it...

cos it wont be a rushed version and they (hopefully will have learnt from any mistakes and taken feedback onboard)

i am know knee deep in the master league and absolutly loving single player mode.

and doctor oko i def recommend you buy it as pro evo is a game that takes time to learn and it's only £39.99 AT YOUR LOCAL GAMESTATION.

hmmm found this

Postby gaznaldo on Sat Oct 28, 2006 1:38 pm

hey guys i found this when browsing xbox forum - don't know how much truth is in the matter but im gonna give it a call anyway..

How to get editing on the PES 6.

I know ManUstevo has been doing a lot of hard work telling people about this but I thought it neded its own thread. This email has been doing the rounds getting people to call Konami and complain about the lack of features. Over 500 people have called already but we need more before they pay attention! "hi all for all the people argueing about PES6 having no edit teams option please read this carefully ... I HAVE SPOKEN TO KONAMI (london) WHERE A GOOD FREIND OF MINE IS WORKING , WHAT YOU ALL HAVE TO DO TO GET AN EDIT OPTION FOR THE GAME IS ! RING KONAMI tel 02089875730 ask for Lyn or Ritchie (they are waiting for your calls) tell them you want to make a complaint about the no edit option for pes6 (xbox 360) they will add you to the list of complaints for the konami game producers (i.e seabass etc) my friend has specificaly told me to post as many websites with this info on so please do the same to all websites you know lyn has told me they need atleast 1000 persons to complain (minimum) *this is not a **** take this is from Lyn (head gamer at konami london)* please copy and paste this info on all your websites and pass this on a.s.a.p , many thnx macca2278 she has told me theres no point in posting websites with your problems as konami dont take this into consideration you have to ring ! if only 10 people ring and konami sell 10 billion copies of pes6 then they will do nothing as they dont see the point in spending extra money for 10 people but if 1000+ people ring with the same problem konami will do something about it , she also told me that there is a possability that it will be in a download from the market place if this happens as she too is looking at ways konami can sort this and apparently NBNA 2K6 OR 7 HAS ALSO ADDED A EDIT MODE ON XBOX LIVE MARKET PLACE FOR THERE GAMERS SO IT IS POSSIBLE !!!!!. all you have to do is ring the number above please all do this and pass the info on to freinds and websites a.s.a.p , thnx for reading. GUYS IVE JUST PHONED,SPOKE TO LYN ( LOVELY WOMAN )SHE IS TRYING TO GET AS MANY OFFICAL COMPLAINTS AS POSSIBLE TO TRY AND FORCE SOMETHING BEING DONE.SHE SAID HER OFFICE PLAY IT AND THEY ARE PISSED OFF THINGS THEY LOVE ARE MISSING.IF YOU LOVE THE GAME AS MUCH AS SOME OF YOU SAY,PICK UP THE PHONE AND MAKE THAT CALL.AGAIN, THIS IS NO JOKE." Get on the case, ring up, get your mates to ring up and post this on your favourite footy forums!

Yeah I've spotted this on a few forums now. By all accounts Konami are getting hundreds of phone calls and emails. I've also seen a few online petitions!!! Not sure it'll come to anything but I guess at the very least Konami are getting feedback.

I'm actually starting to enjoy PES6 now that I've figured it out a bit more. You seem to have to really work for space. :)

Anyone know the real player names for the 'classic' teams? At least thats one thing we CAN edit!!

YOU STOLE MY THEORY! You used to dismiss it whenever I said it to you. Besides, you got it wrong. There was loads of new stuff and improvements in PES2. Unfortunately, some of the new things were horrible flaws.

He's sucker for punishment. This is nothing really. Didn't we discuss his marriage already in this thread?

In all seriousness though, Konami didn't promise any great leap forward with Pro Evo 6 and they're not making anyone buy it. They only release the game every year because people buy it every year. Can you blame them?
