ive seen it twice but it has never killed my xbox. when i see it it scares the crap out of me but it never seems to amount to more than a loose power cable

I got it once it dies from overheating so any one who keeps getting it don't let MS repair it.Get a third party to repair it.

My friend can do repairs his broke three times then he found out all ha had to do was put cooling gel to stop the overheat.

Or just play your 360 in a cold room.

I had one with my old Xbox and got it repaired then sold it and bought an Elite. I've never had a problem with it but I'm scared it'll happen again.

This is my fourth break and second console in repair right now.
Just got off the phone to them because the repair has been cancelled for some reason... whilst they have my XBox! I was on hold for 12 of the 15mins we talked. I was originally promised a brand new console seeing how I've had to put up with so much shit.... but now they are saying that isn't true. Wankers.
I'm going to get very angry.
My friends PS3 broke and after only a few days Sony turned up with a new console and replaced them there and then..... !!

That's cos Sony only have to deal with one or two failures..

There aren't enough couriers in the land to deliver replacement 360's to everyone everytime they break.

Never, my last xbox wouldn't turn on but i've never had the red rings.

Incidently, my xbox broke just after the warranty ran out and after playing fable2. Apparently a lot of other people have had the same problem. Could this be a conspiracy?
