AND I JUST FOUND OUT THAT THE BASTARD DOESNT WORK ON 60HTZ WHAT A BITCH. the man at the samsung call center sed there would be image deteriation on most games and i would have to shell out for a fuking extra cable. what a fukin rip off

Yeah but you're fucked if you want to play GoW, Dead Rising and Test Drive because they only run in 60hz as do a lot of the demos

Wrong - Dead Rising is fine on PAL-50.

But you really do need a 60hz TV to play any future game worth your money.

Hold on. It should work fine over an RGB scart lead, never mind component or VGA. It's been that way since forever: RF and composite leads do not support NTSC/60Hz modes.

Suck it up and spend a tenner. Hardly a substantial rise over Â£450, is it?
