sorry to double post, but just wanted to point out that not everything in the thread is right. I.E you get about 700 points from Burnout and you can get about 960 from DR and 1000 from amped. but its a good rough guide.

also note it dont have on there import or jap games and they can also be gamesaved.

this is why i rent rather than buy like MEEX says. BUT.. i've got a backlog of rental games now. I have Condemed, DOA4 and Pray here at the moment but they have been sitting there for weeks cause i've been busy playing Just cause and lego starwars and DR that i bought rather than rented. lol.

Just trying to finish condemed now as it goes... Intense bloody game. I also just noticed when i got the Bronze Detective badge that its 10 months since i last played this game. I had no idea it was so long ago lol.

anyway, back to finishing this and putting it behind me cause it gives me the creeps. I've even put on music in the background on the 360 so it helps get shut of some of the atmosfear.

Speaking of intense, anyone downloaded the F.E.A.R demo? I had a go yesterday. I didn't enjoy it much, but I loved the way the game used your own shadow to make you jump again, and again, and again.

I always buy games, because I usually go back to them every few months. Renting them just isn't the same.

That said, If I was playing for points I would rent all the time.

dont get me wrong, i dont play just for points. i play for points inbetween the games i want to buy so i have something to do.

as for the fear demo, i aint touching it. i'm waiting for the full game cause i aint even played the pc version and im hoping its gonna meet what everyone is building it up to be.

TBH, most are just shiny versions. No game comes to mind that screams next-gen - beyond the simple increase in size and prettiness.

You say that chris, but there is some original stuff out there like DR. But we're now starting to get the second gen of 360 games so i think we will see some now people are getting to grips more with the machine.

*Slaps self on head*

I was clearly not thinking hard when I wrote that post. How could I not think of DR?!

I'm personally loving the way games are become more and more open-ended, and more realistic in the sense that you can do anything you want. The way you aren't tied to the storylines so much anymore.

Maybe I just have high expectations...
