Yeah pretty boy. Gotta learn to take a joke.

My God this game is almost hilariously bad.

How many years since this and two and they still can't animate him for shit?..

someone give Bob a biscuit, he's obviously feeling grumpy.

Not a perfect game but so far from bad it would need a rail ticket to visit.

Not really. I don't like the Kane & Lynch style video vibe.. I don't like the words coming up on the screen for emphasis. It's supposed to be noir. It's like Making a Max Payne the Mr Men book.

I thought the stylised video blurs and dialog all fit togther really nicely it certainly feels distinct & edgy.

It's more Man on fire than Mr Men.

Also loved the soundtrack from the classic old piano Max theme to the New main track by Health.

I got the blatant Man on Fire, lets be generous, homage.

What I'm saying is that Max should be in a noir setting. Taking him out of it.. you might as well put him in the Mr Men.

Yer I get what you're saying but i think they wanted to move it on, i still really like the old comic book style I'm currently playing MP2 on my phone at the moment & it is so unique.
Maybe some of that got lost in bringing it up to date but i think its still very Max Payne & in context.

Me too Bob, but we have had 2 games of the noir setting and its nice they mixed it up. Its really well executed if you ask me.

Plus thier are noiry flashback bits.

Its the most cinematic game ive ever played and not in a Japanese studio 15 minute unskippable cut scene way, actual gameplay also.
