Asura's 'Feel My' Wrath Demo/Full Game

With the release of the totally bonkers Asura's Wrath looming, I thought I'd start a thread up.

Capcom has announced a demo for Asura's Wrath on PSN and XBLA. The demo is available now on PSN and will head to Xbox Live players tomorrow. This comes over a month ahead of the game's official release.

Agreed. Gave it 10 minutes and hated it. Every button press results in one of those jaunty sounds that the Japs love and there's no freedom to the fighting, just a glorified QTE system. Might wait for the reviews, but I'll pick it up for £10 tops judging by the demo.

This is just awful. I couldn't even being myself to finish the first episode because it was all just QTE's and shitty shooting. I was gonna keep playing hoping that there would be some normal combat to play but the cutscenes were too long and boring so I turned it off.

This Eurogamer preview kind of echoes what you people are saying from the demo but makes it sound really good..

I want this now.. Although I figure I'll give the demo a miss and head into the experience a-fresh!

Everyone's criticisms are right, it's essentially an array of QTE's, simple arcade shooting and fighting. Somehow though, I really enjoyed it. Probably a mix of the ludicrous OTT narrative and style and the nice visuals.

One to pick up when it's dirt cheap me thinks.

That bad?, well I got it downloaded now, but to be fair the preview I read on destrutoid they advised against playing or seeing this out of context as it will ruin the game overall?...

Well I enjoyed the demo in all it's crazy (and QTE) glory, despite my instincts telling me otherwise. I'd say best giving it a go rather than wasting £40 on it.
